DELHI 2 DUBLIN AT MYTHIC FAIRE ON MARCH 12TH
Woodland's new acoustic side project, Woodland String Band premiered at Mythic Faire in Maryland on March 12th. The lineup featured cello virtuoso Adam Hurst, violinst Kimmy Smith and percussionist Ken Sokolov, along with guitar/hurdy gurdy player Emilio Miller-Lopez, and harpist and flute/whistle player Kelly Miller-Lopez. Woodland String Band will be performed many rarely seen live Woodland songs, as well as some traditional pieces not normally performed by the live electric band. Woodland had a blast at the Neverworlds Masquerade this winter with opening acts Scott Huckabay and Man Overboard. The theme was pirates vs. faeries with Woodland and the green man Bily Scudder taking on Man Overboard and Mark Lewis as pirate Dirty Jack. Woodland played the Good Faeries Ball this November 12th along with the

Woodland played three major concert dates in England this summer: 3 Wishes Fairy Festival in Cornwall on June 19th and 20th and tin London for the Urban Fairy Ball in Kensington on June 25th. Both events included live collaborations with ethereal-gothic singer and songwriter, Priscilla Hernandez from Barcelona, Spain. Thanks to our faerie friends from around the globe who joined us on the Summer Solstice for a week of magic and music in England! Videos, pictures and music coming soon!

We are happy to announce that Woodland's new album, Seasons in Elfland: Shadows is available for pre-order. The CDs will ship worldwide on June 15th. Order now and be the first to hear 13 new tracks of Woodland music, in an eco-digipack featuring Brian Froud's original cover art!
Seasons in Elfland: Shadows explores the dark side of the seasonal wheel and includes guest appearances by the German pagan folk band, Faun, ethereal-gothic singer Priscilla Hernandez, Australian songstress Louisa John-Krol, Sigrid Hausen of the German band Qntal, Spanish pianist Hector Corcin, UK artist Wendy Froud and ghost cellist Adam Hurst and more. The album features original cover artwork by UK faerie artist and Woodland collaborator Brian Froud, and the disc includes original artwork by Welsh knotwork artist Jen Delyth.
In accordance with Woodland's vision, the album cover is printed on 100% Green Forestry approved stock with vegetable inks, with a recycled water bottle tray and wrapped in corn plastic.
